गुढीपाडवा, नवरात्र, चेटीचंद आणि उगादीच्या शुभेच्छा देत Shivraj Singh Chouhan यांनी जळगावमधील केळी उत्पादक शेतकऱ्यांसाठी मोठी घोषणा केली आहे.
अमळनेर दौऱ्यात ‘सुपोषण अभियान’ अंतर्गत त्यांनी शेतकऱ्यांशी संवाद साधला. जळगाव हा देशातील प्रमुख केळी उत्पादक जिल्हा असल्याने शेतकऱ्यांच्या अडचणी समजून घेणे आवश्यक असल्याचे त्यांनी सांगितले.
शेतकऱ्यांच्या मागणीनुसार ₹200 कोटींचा ‘Banana Cluster Project’ मंजूर करण्यात आला असून, यामध्ये लागवड, प्रक्रिया, निर्यात, कोल्ड स्टोरेज आणि ripening chambers यांचा समावेश असेल.
युद्धस्थितीमुळे आणि बाजारातील समस्यांमुळे निर्माण झालेल्या अडचणी सोडवण्याचे आश्वासन त्यांनी दिले. तसेच शेतकऱ्यांचे नुकसान करणाऱ्या व्यापाऱ्यांवर कठोर कारवाई केली जाईल, असेही त्यांनी स्पष्ट केले.
